The opening of the UK’s second Pullman (after London St Pancras) has brought a contemporary new addition to the maritime-heritage sweep of Liverpool’s waterfront. The hotel boasts high-tech facilities and a business-friendly location but rather lacks the personality of the skylarking Scouse soul.
