Platinum Palace
Designed in 1906, this grand, three-storey residence, complete with Ionic columns and a richly stuccoed ornate interior was, after lavish restoration, opened as a hotel in 2011. It offers 46 rooms, an acclaimed restaurant and a small wellness centre and adjoins a park in the leafy suburbs.
