A high Victorian mansion, built in 1871 for a wealthy industrialist, that has been a hotel since the 1970s. Under the ownership of Alan and Angela Harper, with Michael Caines as mentor and advisor in the kitchen, the hotel offers a combination of grand bedrooms, exquisite food and old-world charm.
