Behind the façades of two century-old office blocks, the 242-room Godfrey Hotel is a cool, almost minimalist place to stay. Opened in early 2016, it makes a fine base: from here in Boston’s Downtown Crossing district, many of the city’s major attractions are within easy walking distance.
