This small 18th-century palace was once home to Eҁa de Queiroz, the 19th-century novelist, and was where he wrote his best known work ‘The Maias’. Its 29 rooms are decorated in classic style in keeping with its history, and there’s a rooftop library and a terrace with views onto the Tagus River.
